See—and share—this talk, a film of Bob Avakian’s new talk addressing the most urgent question of the day: how to understand, and what to do about, the threat to humanity itself posed by the Trump/Pence regime. This talk—from the most radical revolutionary on the planet—makes the case for massive, sustained nonviolent outpourings. It traces the roots of the regime—the deeper and more immediate causes of its rise to power.

International Day of Solidarity with Prisoner Hunger Strikers 8-1-11

Just received from World Can't Wait:
World Can't Wait is calling for a Day of Action on Monday, August 1

San Francisco plans:
NOON Rally and Speakout at the State Building (Van Ness and McAllister)

March to 455 Golden Gate Avenue, for a short rally at the offices of Governor Brown and the State Attorney General. March back to State Building for a closing rally

The action will amplify the voices of the prisoners themselves, especially the hunger strikers (including readings of their statements, letters and messages). Also we will bring out the voices of a diverse and growing movement of people on the outside, for a struggle which is so clearly - in the words of one hunger strike leader - only in the first quarter.
