See—and share—this talk, a film of Bob Avakian’s new speech addressing the most urgent question of the day: how to understand, and what to do about, the threat to humanity itself posed by the Trump/Pence regime. This talk—from the most radical revolutionary on the planet—makes the case for massive, sustained nonviolent outpourings to begin on Nov. 4. It traces the roots of the regime—the deeper and more immediate causes of its rise to power. Released Oct. 15.

"The Revolutionary Potential of Those Most Oppressed Requires Scientific Leadership"

Come, watch the clips and then participate in the discussion.

"Those this system has cast off, those it has treated as less than human, can be the backbone and driving force of a fight not only to end their own oppression, but to finally end ALL oppression, and emancipate all of humanity."
—From the film

Some questions to think about:

  • Why is the above statement true, why is it a scientific assessment of the oppressed?

  • BA says it is an irony that all the reasons that make it possible for a revolution also make it difficult for the most oppressed to get into it. Why? How can these difficulties be overcome?

  • What about the fact that many of these youth are involved in some bad stuff?

  • Some people think people change themselves first and then change the world. Why is this upside down?
