See—and share—this talk, a film of Bob Avakian’s new speech addressing the most urgent question of the day: how to understand, and what to do about, the threat to humanity itself posed by the Trump/Pence regime. This talk—from the most radical revolutionary on the planet—makes the case for massive, sustained nonviolent outpourings to begin on Nov. 4. It traces the roots of the regime—the deeper and more immediate causes of its rise to power. Released Oct. 15.

Planning Meeting 1-30-17 for Teach-ins Against Trump & to protest Breitbart’s Milo Yiannopoulos talk at UC Berkeley on Wed. 2-1-17

Mon Jan. 30th 7pm

Planning Meeting:
* for Teach-ins Against Trump &
* to protest the Milo Yiannopoulos talk at
UC Berkeley on Wed. Feb. 1st

There's an urgent need for students to understand what is going on with this fascist Trump regime.  Every day brings new and outrageous attacks against immigrants, Muslims, the environment, science and women. Teach-ins are needed to get into what fascism is and the lessons of history, as in Germany. They can address the attack on civil liberties, women and LGBTQ, Black lives, immigrants, and the environment, what this fascist agenda bodes for the university itself and what needs to be done. Come to Revolution Books to work on building for teach-ins on Monday at 7 p.m.

Milo Yiannopoulos, mouthpiece of the Trump-Pence agenda, is coming to Cal this Wednesday as part of his "Dangerous Faggot" campus tour. Milo rose to fame voicing unapologetic disdain for human rights, vicious nationalism, xenophobia, and misogyny, and expressing unyielding support for Donald Trump. In short, he is a modern American fascist. Be part of planning the protest to shut down his talk. (He is scheduled to speak at Pauley Ballroom at 8 pm. Protests start at 5 p.m.)  We will discuss this protest at Revolution Books on Monday at 7 p.m.

 "A Call to Professors, Students and All in Academia:  Starting This Semester... Make the University a Zone of Resistance to the Fascist Trump Regime and the Coming Assault on the Academy" says, "Historically, the university has been the institution where dissent and critical thinking have had the greatest initiative in society. It has helped incubate social movements-like antiwar and civil rights, women's liberation and environmental. This vital role must be defended from fascist assault-and is needed more than ever."
